We print the fabric here in the UK, in our premises in Poynton, and the digitally printed fabric is then cut and sewn, again here in the UK, into whatever products our customers have ordered.

We produce aprons for a range of different purposes.
We supply custom made aprons for our designer and artist customers who sell them to their customers via their websites and/or via re-sellers. We also produce aprons for larger brands, who sell them to their customer via their websites, so more or less the same thing as with our smaller customers, just on a larger scale.
We also supply custom made digitally printed aprons for work wear, for coffee shops, restaurants and other businesses who want to go further with the personalisation of their aprons than is possible with embroidery.
While some businesses are happy for their staff to just wear a standard apron personalised with their logo, some want aprons for themselves and/or their staff which go further towards ensuring first time customers go away with their brand etched into their memories.
Digitally Printed Aprons – Frequently Asked Questions
What fabric do you make digitally printed aprons from?
We have a completely bespoke printing and manufacturing service, which means we can make aprons for you with whatever fabric you would like, and if you’re not sure, we can send a swatch book out to you, so you can pick a fabric which looks and feels exactly how you were expecting.
The most popular fabric we’re asked to digitally print and make into aprons, is 100% Half Panama Cotton. This is a traditional box weave fabric, which comes in 230gsm and 309gsm. Half Panama comes in white & natural organic.
If you’d like a standard weight apron, the 230gsm Half Panama Cotton would be a good choice, and if your design needs to be bright and vibrant, we’d recommend the white fabric, pre-treated for pigment printing, for enhanced definition & vibrancy.
If you’re looking for a heavier weight apron, then the 309gsm half panama may be perfect, and again this comes in white, or natural.
We also regularly produce digitally printed aprons using 255gsm Drill Cotton, which is a fabric which has distinctive diagonal bias in the weave. Our drill fabric is 255gsm, so it’s slightly heavier weight than the standard 230gsm Half Panama. Drill Cotton is available in white and natural organic.
If you wanted something a bit different, there are many other fabrics we could digitally print and make into aprons for you, including heavy weight 393gsm Hopsack or Bull Denim, Eco Canvas polyester or Eco Austin poly/linen.
What is Your Minimum Order / MOQ for Aprons?
The minimum order for aprons is just 20.
Can I Mix Apron Designs?
You certainly can, and you’ll pay the discounted price break price regardless of the number of designs. So if you’re ordering 50 aprons, for example, and you’d like 25 each of 2 designs, or 10 each of 5 designs, you’ll still pay the reduced 50 of price.
Can Digitally Printed Aprons be Washed?
Yes, we recommend washing at 30 degrees, and they can also be ironed on a medium temperature setting.
How Should I Send my Images?
We can work with JPEG, PSD, PDF or TIFF, and resolution of 300 DPI or above. Most customers send files to us using wetransfer.com, which is free for up to 2GB. Just send your images to [email protected].

How do I Place an Order?
Simply send an email to [email protected] letting us know how many aprons you would like to order, and send your design(s) to us via wetransfer.com, or just get in touch if you need any help with your designs, or if you would like quotation.
What Size Are Your Aprons?
Again, we offer a completely bespoke, custom service for all of our printed and manufactured products, but the standard finished size for adult aprons is 84cm tall by 70cm wide. If you’d like short aprons, full length aprons, or any other size of apron, just email us with the details and we’ll respond with a quotation.
What Colour Neck Loops and Ties Can I Have?
We stock webbing for the ties and neck loops, in black, white and natural.
What About D Rings?
When it comes to neck loops, you can can choose to have standard fixed neck loops, or to have metal D rings for adjustable neck loops.
We believe that the addition of metal D rings makes for a better Apron, given that the wearer can customize the fit. D rings are not particularly expensive, adding approximately 40 pence to the cost of the apron, so we do find that a lot of our customers prefer their digitally printed aprons to be manufactured with metal D ring fasteners.
What About Pockets?
Customers can choose whether or not they would like their aprons to have pockets. The list price for aprons is for without pockets (email us for the price list) however if you would like pockets, we will provide a quotation for this, depending on the size of the pocket and other detail including whether the pocket is to be plain or printed.
Can You Sew in my Labels?
Yes, if you send us your brand labels, we will sew them in with the hem, at no extra cost.
We’ll also sew in standard care labels, unless you would like to send us your own custom care labels also.
We don’t print labels, but we recommend Pennine labels in Colne, Lancashire, or for smaller quantities, Bags of Love.
