Digitally Printed Wallpaper

Our MOQ (minimum order quantity) for rolls of wallpaper is 2 rolls at a standard size of 52cm wide x 10m long. Pricing for standard size rolls can be found on our price list, however if you have a different size in mind, please get in touch with a member of the team for a quote.

Orders for rolls can be split between a few different designs if you’d like, however please bear in mind there is an MOQ of 2 rolls per design. This is because 2 rolls are printed side by side simultaneously and then split in half when trimmed. After the MOQ of 2pcs, the price breaks for rolls of wallpaper are 10pcs, 20pcs and 30pcs. If you require more rolls that 30pcs, again, please get in touch with a team for a quote.

Digitally printed murals are charged per square metre and there is no MOQ. Pricing for this can be found on our price list. All wallpaper murals and rolls are printed and trimmed on site. Wallpaper murals can be printed at any width up to a metre, however, usually we would recommend printing each panel 94cm wide. This allows the murals to be packed in boxes under 1 metres in length so that the shipping is at a normal rate and not as freight.

Print files should be provided print ready. If your files are not print ready, we can supply a quote for getting them print ready for you. You only need to supply us with the single repeat of your design, and we can step it out to the width and length of the roll. Please make sure it is at the correct scale you’d like us to print it at and that it repeats seamlessly both horizontally and vertically. You should make sure that it repeats perfectly within the 52cm width of each roll (or whatever width you have discussed with a member of the team) so that when they are trimmed and the rolls are split in half, they will repeat seamlessly when applied on the wall. Also, if your design requires a half drop, please make this known to the member of the team who is looking after your enquiry.

Please send your files as RGB TIFFs/PDFs/PSDs or JPEGs at 300dpi resolution or higher. If your artwork is print ready, there is no setup charge. Please consider that if an image is being blown up significantly for a mural, everything will be enlarged, so any imperfections will be more noticeable. Meshtex cannot be held responsible for any design faults discovered after printing so please thoroughly check through your artwork prior to giving approval to print.

We have recently introduced a new wallpaper printer which uses UV gel inks rather than the water-based inks that our older machines used. While we still offer printing on our older machines, we would recommend printing on the new machine. The resulting print from the gel inks is much more durable and the print quality is sharper and more defined. It will not rub off or fade even when overworked or when being applied to the wall. Another huge benefit of gel inks is that the stability of the colour is much more reliable. Printing trials have been done on four machines around the world using the same file and the same print profile and the result was that all 4 samples were exactly the same. This means that if you had a print from us today and then ordered a re-print in 6 months there won’t be a discrepancy in colour. This is not something we have been able to guarantee previously!

If you require labels to be included with your rolls or murals, these will need to be provided by you. The labels can be packed around the wallpaper and secured together when we shrink wrap the rolls during the packing process. The rolls are wound on to a 2” core to give more strength for courier delivery. The appearance of a finished roll of digitally printed wallpaper will be the same as a standard roll of shop bought wallpaper.

Our average lead time on wallpaper is approx. 1-2 weeks. This is from payment of the invoice or approval of artwork (if this is required for your order). The lead time can increase if the order is very large or if our workload is particularly heavy – this can be at busy times of year like Christmas. If you have a deadline, always check with a member of the team if your deadline is achievable. If you are need of a very fast turnaround, again, let a member of the team know as in certain circumstances, we’ve been able to turn around orders in just 48 hours.
