This is a full product guide for our digitally printed cosmetic bags.
The MOQ (minimum order quantity) for our cosmetic bags is 50pcs. However, if you want to split the total quantity between a few different designs, that’s totally fine. We have an MOQ per design of 10pcs. So, for example, if you were to order the minimum of 50pcs, you could have up to 5 different designs and you will still get the same unit price.

We have two standard sizes for cosmetic bags. The standard printed panel sizes are 25x38cm for the smaller makeup bag or 34x50cm for the larger wash bag. This allows for a 1.5cm bleed/hemming allowance on the left and right edges and 1cm on the top and bottom edges. This means that the resulting finished product sizes are approx. 22x17cm for the makeup bag and 13x23cm for the wash bag. There is no standard label sewn into our cosmetic bags, so if you would like one, this will need to be provided by yourself.
Branded labels can be sewn in at no extra cost. The labels will need to be made up elsewhere and sent to us as we do not produce them here. To save you paying for postage twice, you can ask the label company to send the labels directly to us. We can sew your branded labels into any position you’d like.
A popular option is to have them sewn so they’re visible on the outside of the cosmetic bag or having them sewn on the inside seam of the lining. If you’re having your own branded labels, when placing your order, please let a member of the team know where you’d like them to be sewn.
We have a few different options for zip colours. Most commonly, we use zips that have either silver or brassy coloured teeth, with a selection of colours for the fabric either side of the teeth. We also have plastic zips in a range of colours. Please ask a member of the team if the zip colour you’d like is available prior to ordering.
Another way to make your cosmetic bags even more custom is to have printed lining as well as the printed exterior. We now offer printed lining fabric which is made using a fabric called Ventura 245gsm which is a FR (fire retardant), WR (water resistant) and UV resistant 100% PU coated polyester fabric. Having a printing lining means that you don’t need to have just a block colour, you can have patterns as well. As this is a polyester fabric, it will be printed using a process called dye sublimation. Please note this will mean we cannot guarantee that the colours on the lining will match the colours on the digitally printed exterior. We offer printed lining at no extra charge.
When supplying artwork for a cosmetic bag order, please send your files at 25x38cm for makeup bags or 34x50cm for wash bags. Please keep any text/design motifs that need to be visible at lease 2cm away from the edge of the file, so they don’t get sewn into the seams. For the printed lining, please supply the files at the same size as the exterior panels. Please send the files as RGB JPEGs, PSDs, PDFs, or TIFFs at 254 dpi resolution or higher.
